| Bishop Mario Grech visits Radju Lauretana |

Bishop Mario Grech visited Radju Lauretana on Monday 13th August at 12.30pm. His Excellency paid a visit to the station after being invited by Archpriest Fr Frankie Bajada to do so. On his arrival, he was greeted by Archpriest Fr Frankie Bajada and Lelio Spiteri, Director of Radju Lauretana. Lelio Spiteri interviewed the Bishop. Bishop Grech addressed the listeners, telling them that he was so satisfied that Ghajnsielem Parish was providing such a service to its parishioners, both living in Ghajnsielem and abroad. This was due to the hard work of Archpriest Bajada.
e was asked to comment on the Pastoral Letter issued by the bishops on the occasion of the feast of Saint Mary. During the interview, listeners sent in messages, thanking his Excellency for visiting Radju Lauretana. In the end, Bishop Grech wished all Ghajnselmizi a saintly feast. Several children attending Sajfflimkien, a summer school organized by the parish, flocked in the studio to greet the Bishop. On his part, the Bishop spent some time talking to them. Before leaving, Bishop Grech signed a photo taken during his visit. Thanks to His Excellency for paying us a visit. His words of encouragement fill us with the energy needed to continue to spread God’s word through radio. |
