| Preparations underway for the Festa Schedule |

Although Radju Lauretana is currently off air, preparations are underway so that everything will be ready for 3rd August when the Festa Schedule starts. A meeting has been held for all volunteers at the Parish Centre. We’re promising a fully packed schedule comprising varied programs for all listeners. Tuesday 5th August marks the first birthday of our radio station. That day will be an open day. The radio station will be open for all to see, participate in the special programs being aired on the date and contribute financially towards the running of the station. Another important date in the Festa schedule is Sunday 24th August when the St. Joseph Band Club celebrates its 80th anniversary since its foundation. Radju Lauretana will broadcast live from the Band Club premises, a first in the short history of the station. The festa week, starting on Monday 25th August, will be characterized by live transmissions from Ghajnsielem church and outside broadcasting of all festa activities.
Works are being carried out in the studio to create a recording studio within the same premises. Both studios will be sound proof.
There’s a lot of work to do. But with the help of many, projected goals will be achieved. We’ll keep you informed. Until then, God Bless! |
