Radju Lauretana prepares for Christmas
Monday 10th November 2008
Radju Lauretana’s schedule for this Christmas starts on Monday 8th December 2008, the feast of the Immaculate Conception. The schedule will start with a bang. In the morning Radju Lauretana will broadcast the High Mass live from Cospicua (Bormla). In the evening, the rosary and mass will be transmitted live from Saint Anthony’s Church. On the 9th of December, Radju Lauretana will link with Loreto (Italy) at 21.00 to broadcast live the prayer vigil. The 10th of December is the liturgical feast of Our Lady of Loreto. Holy Rosary will be broadcast live at 17.30 from the Holy House of Our Lady in Loreto. Other live transmissions will take place during the month of December, including exclusive coverage of the Presepju Haj being constructed at Ta’ Passi, a green area here in Ghajnsielem. Live programs will be broadcast from the Christmas Tent which will be shortly constructed in the parking area adjacent the Saint Joseph Band Club. Surprise links will take place too, especially on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Religious functions will be given top priority.

And what about other programs? As in previous schedules, Radju Lauretana has prepared varied programs aimed to please all listeners. An encouraging number of volunteers have once again prepared high quality programs. Thanks to the dedication of all staff! The full Christmas Schedule will be on line as from next week. All listeners are invited to tune in as from the 8th of December. A special word goes to all Ghajnselmizi around the world. You have always been there in the past. We’re sure to listen to and read your comments during the Christmas season through your calls, messages and e mails. Waiting eagerly to meet again on Ghajnsielem’s Parish Radio Station, Radju Lauretana. Till we meet again…God Bless!
