Radju Lauretana is the first Gozitan Community Radio to go national on the Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB+) format. DAB is part of the future of radio broadcasting offering listeners an interference-free experience to listeners from all over Malta and Gozo. This year’s Christmas Schedule is reaching a wider audience and the feedback is increasingly encouraging. For many, Christmas Time offers a break from work and other activities. This is quite the opposite at Radju Lauretana. Our studios are continuously buzzing with activity and Christmas is a busy time for all volunteers running Ghajnsielem’s radio station. On Christmas Day, we will be LIVE all day long and will include live transmissions from Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem, the major Christmas attraction on the islands. Thousands have already visited the crib, others will do so in the coming days to live the experience of the nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ. The special Christmas Schedule will continue until Sunday 8th January 2012. Radju Lauretana will follow the three wise men on their journey from Mellieha to Ghajnsielem.
